Winter clothing!

*image found at my cute graphics.com

Please have your child practice putting on his/her winter clothing at home, in order for them to become more confident at dressing themselves independently in the classroom.

Some students continue to need assistance to fix the sleeves of their jackets and the legs of their ski pants as they turn them inside out while undressing.

Have your child practice putting on their boots and pulling the bottom of the ski pants over their boots to keep the snow out.

PLEASE LABEL ALL OF YOUR CHILD'S CLOTHING AS MANY OF THE CHILDREN HAVE THE SAME JACKETS, SKI PANTS, MITTENS AND BOOTS!

Merci!

The boys and girls continue to enjoy playing in the dry sand as well as the wet sand.
We use a lot of concrete materials to problem solve in kindergarten.
Hard at work in our portfolios.

Montre et Raconte (Show and Tell)!

*image found at clipartkid.com

Monday, November 21st is the start of SHOW AND TELL (Montre et Raconte).  Each child will have the chance to bring a special toy, book, craft, souvenir or photo once a week to share with his/her friends.

PLEASE REMEMBER, NO PETS, ELECTRONIC DEVICES (iPads, Nintendo DS, etc.) or anything valuable as they may become lost or broken.  Your child's show and tell must be small enough to fit in his/her backpack.  Please remind your child that their show and tell object is to remain in their backpack until I ask them to come share with the class.  They should not play with it on the school bus or at daycare.

Due to the large number of children in each group, if your child is absent or forgets his/her show and tell on his/her day, then he/she will have to wait until the following week to bring an item from home.

From time to time, I will be asking for specific items, such as an object of a certain colour, shape, etc.

PLEASE CHECK THE SCHEDULE FOR YOUR CHILD'S SHOW AND TELL DAY.  I HAVE ALSO PUT A COPY OF THE SCHEDULE IN YOUR CHILD'S ZIPLOCK BAG.

Please let me know if you have any questions.
