This Week in Kindergarten!

This week's Discovery Bins were all turkey (le dindon) related.  Playing a Math game with turkey feathers.

Adding the correct amount of popsicle stick feathers to the turkeys.

Counting the correct amount of beads.

Further developing our fine motor skills by using our thumbs and pointer fingers to pick up buttons and decorate the turkey feathers.

The boys and girls are working hard at printing their names correctly.

Rolling a die and adding the correct amount of feathers.

A subitizing activity.

Puzzle time.

Creating roads and ramps for the cars.

Playing a game with a friend.

Exploring the magna-tiles.

The children have been busy building lots of structures.

The morning class' turkey.

The afternoon class' turkey.

What is the pattern?  (Blue shoes, black shoes, blue shoes, black shoes...)

Creating Thanksgiving patterns on the SMARTboard.

Matching the turkeys to their shadows.

We ended off the week watching a video of Paul and Suzanne.

Mme Melo and Mme Rothwell came to play with us this afternoon.  This little pilot was happy to take them to a warmer climate.

I hope that everyone has a great long weekend!
Happy Thanksgiving!
Bonne action de graces!
