This week we started Discovery Bins. |
Discovery Bins contain a variety of materials set up on the tables in the classroom. |
As soon as the children enter the classroom they are readily engaged in activities before our school day starts. |
By the end of the week the students will have completed all four tasks. |
September 30th was Orange T-shirt Day! |
It was fun to see so many orange shirts in the classroom. |
The afternoon class building structures with cubes. |
Creating with Lego. |
Tangrams. |
And mini pegboards. |
Some more fine motor activities. |
Cutting and gluing things that belong in our backpacks. |
Practicing scissor skills. |
Rolling the die and adding the correct amount of feathers (les plumes) on the turkey (le dindon). |
Working in our colour booklets. |
And lots and lots of play time. |
Sharing toys and classroom space with our friends. |
Building with straws and connectors. |
And creating at the art table. |
These two little boys were counting the K'Nex pieces in French during Play Time. BRAVO!!! |
The afternoon class loves to use the mini stapler and make books for their families. |
