Bus Ridership! - La sécurité en autobus!

On Thursday, the kindergarten students participated in the Bus Ridership program.
We learned all about the danger zone and bus safety.
Bus driver Bob taught us how to sit properly on the school bus.
He showed us his first aid kit, just in case someone ever gets hurt on the bus.  Bob has never had to use the first aid kit.
He also explained to us how important it is to have a walkie-talkie in case there is ever an emergency.
There is a crowbar on the bus, which can be used to break a window if needed.
The boys and girls practiced how to exit from the back door of the bus in case of an emergency.  Please ask your child if he/she can name some of the rules that we must follow when we ride the bus.  Bob also gave each child a small beaded bracelet as a thank you for being such good listeners.  He will come back to see us in the spring to see if we remember all of the bus rules.
