This Week in Kindergarten!

This has been an incredibly different and exhausting week.  We started off with 9 students in the morning class and continued to learn about different modes of transportation.  At the same time, teachers were busy putting together work packages, making videos for the SEESAW app and attending many staff meetings.

We continued to work on number formation.

The 7 boys and girls from the afternoon class printing the number 8.

These three students wanted to build a house for a leprechaun (un farfadet), not a trap to catch him but just a cozy little house for him.

With Mme Godin's help we used some inventive spelling (printing the sounds that we hear in a word) and wrote "La mazo du farfada" (La maison du farfadet).

We made some pokey pin leprechauns.

The leprechaun must have found the house because he left his hat and some green glitter on our table.

The rest of the week we had mostly 4 students in the afternoon class.  The children drew pictures of a mode of transportation.

The morning class' modes of transportation.

On Thursday, these two little boys switched the arrow to the first official day of spring.

We ended of the week making dominoes, enjoying extra play time and playing all by ourselves on the SMARTboard.
