This Week in Kindergarten!

We had another fun week in kindergarten!  The children are adjusting well to the new school routines. We play a lot of large group games to practice new French vocabulary.  This game is called "OH!OH!".  The object of the game is to pull all of the coloured popsicle sticks out of the container before we pull out the "Oh! Oh!" stick.  If we pull the "Oh! Oh!" stick, we have to put all of the other sticks back in the container and start again.

We practiced printing our names and colouring circles (les cercles).  The boys and girls raise their hands to let me know they are done their work.

Practicing to print letters with Mme Godin.

Hard at work tracing vertical lines.

The children are also practicing to hold their pencils correctly.

The afternoon class' art work (decorating their first letters of our names).

The morning class' artwork.

Working in our colour booklets.  We made red apples (la pomme rouge).

And of course lots and lots of play time.

Playing with the puppets.

Waiting for customers to buy our food.

Building habitats for the dinosaurs.

All of the students' names on display in the classroom.

And another full week of kindergarten is done!
