Important Dates!
This Week in Kindergarten!
| The boys and girls were finally able to take their number booklets home. We will continue to further develop forming numbers neatly and correctly in the classroom. |
| Sorting transportation according to on land (sur la terre), on water (dans l'eau) or in the sky (dans les airs). |
| Printing numbers that come after a given number. |
| Practicing to print the letter Q. |
| And our last few days of play before Spring Break! |
| So many pictures and books being made. |
| Some of the students are beginning to add more script to their drawings. |

Important Dates!
This Week in Kindergarten!
| This week we completed our colour booklets. We will continue to read recite our poems and use this familiar script as part of our literacy activities in the classroom. |
| L'éléphant est gris. |
| We continued to explore colour mixing and talked about different types of paper, such as absorbent paper. |
| The boys and girls enjoyed watching and waiting for the coloured water to mix into the empty middle cups. |
| We practiced printing the letter O. |
| The children also played a few St.Patrick's Day games on the SMARTboard. |
| Printing the number 9 and adding nine gum balls to the gum machine. |
| Trying to find the leprechaun "le farfadet" who was hiding behind one of the numbers from 11 (onze) to 20 (vingt). |
| Practicing to show our parents how to program Bee-Bot during our "Celebration of Learning" on Thursday evening and Friday morning. |
| Finding different ways to play with these alphabet bean bags. |
| Playing 1, 2, 3 CRAQUE with friends. |

| Mademoiselle Poubelle was eating objects that started with the letter B this week. |
| B comme bouton! If the object did not begin with a B sound, we had to place it on the light cube. |
| Practicing to print the number 6. |
| This little boy made a plan at home to help him build with the magna tiles. |
| Printing the letter U. |
| Exploring objects that float (flotte) and sink (coule). |
| The boys and girls made leprechauns (les farfadets). They used plastic forks to paint the beard and hair. |

This Week in Kindergarten!
| On Monday, the boys and girls drew a picture of a voyageur. |
| The afternoon class' voyageurs. |
| The morning class' voyageurs. |
| We have also been working on letter sounds. These students are cutting voyageur pictures, naming the object and gluing it under the correct letter - c- canot, b-bison, etc. |
| Counting buttons on the snowmen and printing the correct number on the hat. |
| The boys and girls are learning to code with this little guy. |
| A group of girls wanted to show me the special chair that they built during play time on Thursday. |

| Tracing and cutting (un trèfle) a shamrock for our portfolios. |
