This Week in Kindergarten!

The boys and girls completed the colour "violet" in their colour booklets.  They made purple grapes (les raisins violets).

Hard at work practicing to print the tricky number 2.

Our dollhouse is all ready for the holidays!  Santa is on the roof, there is a tree, presents and beautiful coloured lights.

The countdown to Christmas is on!

Placing the candy canes in order from the shortest to the tallest.

Making sets of objects.

Getting the house area ready for Christmas.

Tic-tac-toe.

Making decorations for the tree and cards for our classmates.

We will be adding more things to Santa's workshop in the days to come.

Making delicious playdough cookies.

The children also explored new discovery bin items.

Creating designs and patterns with red and green craft sticks.

Playing a math game.

Decorating Christmas trees with the correct amount of mini erasers.

Adding garland and ornaments to our fun foam trees.
The children could recreate the examples on the cards or use their imaginations to create their own designs.

Making sure to carefully count each of the erasers.

The first player to fill their tree with coloured stones was the winner of the game.

And we ended off the week counting sets of objects and printing the correct amount as well as colouring the reindeer antlers that had the most dots on them.
