This Week in Kindergarten!

Decorating our Mother's Day gift bags!  Please check your child's backpack for your special gift.

Mr. Wesselius is the afternoon class' library teacher.  He had a special delivery the other day.  There was a box on his desk when he got to work.  It said Marvelous Mustache CO.  Mr. Wesselius opened the box and found a special book.

This little boy was Mr Wesselius' helper.  The book was called Mo's Mustache.  The boys and girls loved this story and all of the props that went with it.

Drawing three things that we need to help us grow strong and healthy.

What number comes before?  What number comes after?  And how many?  These are some of the math concepts we were reviewing today.

Practicing to print the letter K.

The children continue to play with the dinosaurs and wooden tree pieces.

Building a town.

Everyone was exploring different activities during Play Time.

When the children are busy playing, Mme Godin is hard at work with end of the year assessments.
We have also started to learn about the Seven Teachings (les 7 enseignements sacrés).  We are preparing for our Treaty Day which will take place on May 25th.

Drawing a picture of someone who helps us at home.

Lots of building going on at the different play areas in class.

Playing with the magnetic people.

Enjoying our last day of the school week in the house area with our friends.

The boys and girls were very excited to see the new Jets wallpaper on Mme Godin's SMARTboard!  The afternoon class entered the room cheering:  "GO, JETS, GO!!!!!"
