Important Dates!
This Week in Kindergarten!
I'm sorry for the lack of photos this week. It was a shorter week because of the long weekend and also Mme Godin was home sick with a really bad stomach flu for a few days.
On Thursday morning, we joined Monsieur Charrette's class for a special presentation about treaties.
Mme Richelle (indigenous educator) sang a beautiful song in her native language. The students were very respectful and listened attentively. |
We learned how each person has a special talent and that we share these talents with our friends to help us grow together as a community. |
We watched a super short video about how CANADA got its' name. |
We discussed all of the symbols found on this special medal. Ask your child if he/she remembers some of the symbols we talked about. |
Listening carefully to Mme Richelle in preparation for Friday's Treaty Day!!!
