This week the boys and girls were practicing to copy sentences neatly on the line and to illustrate a spring book.
They are doing a great job!
We also painted paper Easter eggs (les oeufs de Pâques)!
The boys and girls chose 3 different colours of paint. They used Qtips to make dots of paint on the egg and then pulled a squeegie through the paint to make beautiful designs.
The morning class' eggs.
The afternoon class' eggs.
We read a book about a rabbit who finds an egg. At the end of the story, a little duck hatches from the egg. The children had to use their imaginations and draw a picture of something that they would like to find in an egg. This little girl found a Minion.
And this little girl, a beautiful heart.
We played an Easter game and had to answer many questions in order to advance on the game board.
A tower of bunnies.
Easter puzzles.
Exploring plastic eggs. Some children made patterns, others were making egg towers and some were putting the eggs together.
Trying to make the rabbits hop into the plastic cup.
Playing tic-tac-toe.
An elaborate structure with bridges and roads on the light cube.
Two princesses sharing the same crown that they made at the art table.
Playing Easter games on the SMARTboard.
