This Week in Kindergarten!

This week, the boys and girls are learning the names of the clothing that the Voyageur wore.
Counting bisons, snowshoes, canoes, Voyageur and circling the correct number.
We worked on our fine motor skills by colouring the correct paths to the Aboriginal people, Voyageur and beaver's homes.
Playing Voyageur bingo.
The children enjoyed playing this Voyageur game.  They had to answer questions relating to the Voyageur as well as many literacy and numeracy based questions in order to keep moving on the game board.
We practiced identifying and naming the letters of the alphabet in French.  When the children saw the Hé-Ho card, they had to raise their arms up in the air and yell Hé-Ho just like the Voyageur.
This little girl is practicing her letter sounds during Play Time.
Playing with trucks and cars.
Building bridges with the wooden blocks.
These 3 children worked very hard with the straws and connectors on Pink Shirt Day.
Creating roads and train tracks for the dinosaurs.
