Lucie Lutin!

Wow!  Lucie Lutin was very busy last night.  She made a beautiful snowman craft with all of the letters in her name on each snowball.  Lucie still had Mme Godin's black marker in her hand.  All of the boys and girls made a name snowman as well.  There are only 8 more sleeps until Christmas!!!

Lucie Lutin!

We were quite surprised to find Lucie Lutin's message to us up on the SMARTboard.  Our sneaky little elf was sitting way up high on the projector.  She was very happy that today was Friday.  We wonder what she will be up to on Monday?  There are only 11 more sleeps until Christmas!!!

This Week in Kindergarten!

This second last week of school consisted of lots and lots of practicing for our Winter Concert!  I am sure that you are all very proud of your children.  They did an amazing job!!!

Mme Jewers, our school division's occupational therapist came to do a scissor demonstration for both kindergarten classes.

She taught the students a poem to remember how to hold their scissors correctly and we played a cutting game.  "Two fingers on the bottom, my thumb is at the top.  Open up the mouth and CHOP, CHOP, CHOP!"

Counting sets of Christmas objects and practicing to print the numbers correctly.

Tic-tac-toc!

The art table continues to be one of the most popular centres during play time.

Matching letters on Santa's beard.

Creating at the block centre after the afternoon concert on Wednesday.

Putting together some large floor puzzles.

Building with the large lego.

Mme Godin added lots of jingle bells to the magna tile centre.

And lots of cookie decorating!

We ended our week making Santa puzzles!  One more week of school and it is WINTER BREAK!!!
