This Week in Kindergarten!

| We are starting a new Social Studies theme called "All About Me" (C'est moi!) The boys and girls are learning about things that are important in order for us to grow healthy and strong. |
 |
| The children had to draw a picture of themselves. |

| A shape and colour Bingo game on the SMARTboard. |
 |
| Counting and printing the correct numbers on the lines. |

| This week we practiced printing the letter A. |
 |
| Listening carefully to instructions. |

| The children are busy at work preparing something special for their mommies. |

This Week in Kindergarten!

| We are very busy further developing our kindergarten literacy skills. This little girl is circling a capital letter (une lettre majuscule) in the illustrated sentence. |

| Circling a word. We are also working at identifying the first and the last letters in words (la première lettre et la dernière lettre dans un mot). |

| Printing the initial consonant sounds. These are the sounds that we hear at the beginning of a word. We did a great job! Mme Godin taught us that chenille (caterpillar) is a bit trickier. It starts with 2 letters that we put together to make the sound "ch" in French. |
